How To Spot & Avoid Proxy Sellers

Proxy sellers act as middlemen, selling accounts they don't own. While some are legitimate, many sell risky accounts that may be banned or recovered. Some enable scammers to cashout scammed or stolen accounts and once a issue arise they claim ignorance.

Red Flags To Watch For

📸 Unverified Screenshots

PS App not logged in, just the username with "Add Friend" options. No proof of actual ownership.

🔒 Avoids Proof Of Ownership

Won't log into the account, won't put the name in bio (claims it's "not safe"), says verification is "too long".

📝 "OGU" In Username

Recently many proxy sellers put "ogu" in their name to appear trusted. Historically used to impersonate trusted sellers.

📦 Mass Account Listings

Posting 10+ stories with 30+ PSN accounts each. All accounts are "OG" words, 3-4 letters.

🔄 Account Recycling

Using an account as their main one day, suddenly listing it for sale days later. They bought an unsafe account and are passing the problem to you.

🔍 Duplicate Account Listings

If the same account appears with multiple sellers, it's 95% a proxy. Proxy sellers often share the same accounts.
